I had an avocado omelette that was delicious as were the hash browns. The service was great too. It was a bit pricey. Coffee was okay.

We have been to Rick's several times always for lunch and they are always very busy whether it is "high season" for all the snowbirds that appear in town, or the middle of summer when it is mostly locals and the few of us who really do like 100+ temperatures. Rick's is a real local gem. The staff is always accommodating and friends, their service fast, courteous and efficient. This time I ordered the grilled chicken breast with potato pancakes, and it was delightful, the salad was really fresh and crisp and the chicken breast cooked just right so it was not overcooked, a common mistake even in high-end restaurants. The potato pancakes were a nice surprise; delicious, in a word. Hubby had his favorite, a special salad that has chicken, turkey and tuna salad on greens, and he was a pleased as always. We have never had breakfast here, but the menu looks extraordinary.

I finally made it to Rick's after 6 years of living right next door!! Why did it take so long. They have an amazing team there. The food is comforting and delicious. You'll find exactly what you're looking for on the menu. I sat at the counter and met some fellow locals who are regulars and shared their favorites. I was too stuffed to grab their famous cinnamon roll but I'll be back!

Ah, Rick's. We ate here twice on a recent visit to Palm Springs. I love good diner food and Rick's hits it out of the park. Great location and ambiance. Just a nice clean, no-frills diner. The staff works well together and we had a tremendous server both times we visited. The coffee is fresh and tasty. For breakfast, I had bacon and eggs with hashbrowns. I also got the giant cinnamon roll (and ended up taking half of it home). My wife had huevos rancheros on our first visit, she loved it. Only knock, my bacon wasn't cooked as crisp as I had requested, but it was still good and I didn't mention it to my server. That's on me and next time I will make sure it's how I ordered it. Two thumbs way up for Rick's. Look forward to making this a regular stop in PS.

Rick's hits the spot, open for breakfast and lunch, you're sure to find something for everyone. From pancakes to sandwiches, fried chicken, and cocktails too. The first thing I noticed was the top-notch service we received. The hostess was prompt to add us to the wait list and let us know how long the wait would be. After we were seated, a gentleman offered water and or coffee. The waitress soon came to take our food order. I observed the wait staff continuously tending to guests, clearing tables to prepare for the next customer. It was a very busy morning, yet they were quick to bring refills, extra napkins, and salsa when we requested it. The food was delicious and good portions. Cost for two breakfast meals and coffee was $50. Stop by for food or drinks and tell 'em Rosemary sent ya!

This is a great place for breakfast and lunch--and most people in Palm Springs know it. We came in for a late lunch and had to wait for a table (we could have sat at the countertop immediately). They are pretty fast in getting the food out. The food is pretty doggone good. Their prices are competitive. They had healthy lunch options. We had an 8 ounce piece of seared Ahi with asparagus and a side of Cuban black beans and rice. My partner had a hamburger slider with onion rings. We also had yummy Cuban Flan. It is wheelchair accessible, as are the bathrooms (you can almost do wheelies in the bathroom).
